Description
Men are carrying wood to build houses in Sand Point. Families built this village in 1938, after the construction of the Winneway dam flooded their settlement at Long-Point. During Odeimin kisis (July), the community would host a mission led by the bishop of the diocese, which included both Anicinabek and non-Indigenous people from neighboring villages.
