Crooked knife for the left hand. A metal blade curved at one end, the other end of which sinks into a wooden handle and is held in place by rope wrapped around the handle.
Crooked knife, owned by Uncle William and inherited by Charles McBride. His wife, who sold it to Mrs. Webber, considers it an heirloom.
Also used to smoothen and carve wood, for example to make canoes. - Format
