Community gathering on education (00:00:01 – 00:07:16)
An education gathering will be held on January 15 and 16 at Kitigan Zibi School to discuss issues related to First Nations education, including the preservation of Indigenous languages and long-term planning. Presentations, workshops, and discussions with the community and Elders are planned, as well as a community dinner and social activities.

An RCMP representative explains methods for destroying seized drugs and presents educational videos tailored to different grade levels to prevent drug use. These videos address medication safety, peer pressure, and real-life testimonials for teens.
HIV/AIDS Awareness (00:10:17 – 00:11:19)
Michael Smith emphasizes the importance of taking the reality of HIV/AIDS seriously and invites the community to contact local resources for help and information.
