Description
A woman stands beside three beaver pelts stretched on tacopanatanatik, wooden hoops. The pelts are dried in May, after the hunting season, and brushed while they are stretched. After a few days, they are taken down and rolled up. Great care must be taken when handling them, as any mark left on the fur can lower its market value.
